Bullying

Bullying is such a difficult situation for all kids involved, even the bully.  This is a great video I want to share. Show it to your teen, if you are a parent. If you’re a teen show it to your friends. Lets work together to stop and prevent bullying.

The feelings kids have from being bullied is worthlessness. I know, I’ve been there, I was bullied as a teen. If you haven’t been bullied it’s hard for you to relate to the feelings that this causes. Just try to imagine not being accepted for you during a time when this is most important. If you’re being bullied, tell someone and seek help, if you’re a bully, start putting yourself into the the person being bullied shoes and stop. If you see someone out there on their own getting bullied, reach out and stick up for them.

The only way we can put a stop to this is to become aware of the pain it is causing and help stop it anyway we can.

The trick is in what one emphasizes. We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves happy. The amount of work is the same. - Carlos Castaneda
