Seriously, you don’t have a clue who you are talking to when you are in chat rooms, or even when you friend someone on Instagram. Who is it? You never know. The Internet is a great tool to be able to communicate easier, faster and with far more people than you could ever imagine. We just have to be smart about it. The world of technology is both fascinating and scary. The scary part is what I want you to pay attention to. Here are some quick tips for you using the Internet for communicating:
- Never give out personal information
- A stranger is a stranger
- Never, ever, meet them in person
- Get off the site and log out If you feel uncomfortable
